I found a nice tutorial for Pro/Program which helped me a lot. Now I'm trying to find one for Drawing Program and manipulating the States in drawing. I inherited an assembly, simple!! Per se, with 400 parameters and 160 states that I have to fix and modify for new requirements. In the forthcoming Creo 2.0, edits can be made across assemblies, allowing faces in multiple parts to be moved into position. There are new snapping tools that will make edits more precise. In general, compared to the first release, Creo 2.0 looks and feels much more responsive. 0 (find instance with param values that match supplied values exactly). - Download a small executable to start setup for Creo 2.0. During the install of the edition, the required files are pulled from PTC.com. A PTC account is required.
- Download Full Media (4.2 GB)
- For the Student Edition you will need to the following product code during setup
- Just register in the www.ptc.comand you will get your Product code in your mail and which will be needed while installing.
- Start setup.exe on your machine
- Select Install New software. Click Next.
- Accept License agreement. Click Next.
- Enter the student edition product code (which you will get as soon as you register (for free) in www.ptc.com)
- Click 'Install Licensing' to generate the license file. once created, setup will add the license file to the license summary section.
- Click Next
- On the product screen, deselect MKS.
- Click Install.

Creo is a family or suite of Computer-aided design (CAD) apps supporting product design for discrete manufacturers and is developed by PTC. The suite consists of apps, each delivering a distinct set of capabilities for a user role within product development.

Creo runs on Microsoft Windows and provides apps for 3D CAD parametric featuresolid modeling, 3D direct modeling, 2D orthographic views, Finite Element Analysis and simulation, schematic design, technical illustrations, and viewing and visualization.
Creo Elements and Creo Parametric compete directly with CATIA, Siemens NX/Solidedge, and SolidWorks. The Creo suite of apps replace and supersede PTC's products formerly known as Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate, and ProductView. Creo has many different software package solutions and features.
